….it was nice. I learned a lot, I grew a lot, I wasted a lot of time on people who didn’t matter, and I can easily say it was a year I won’t forget. I’m excited to see how 2012 will treat me.
Highlights of 2011 (in no particular order):
-NEW YEARS PARTY HAHA I was gone that night
-Flowers for Algernon (rehearsals were kinda long, but it was a fun experience)
-Summer: taking 10 units was fucking crazy but I’m glad I did it
-Summer Experience @ CAL
-JR. PROM
-the weak sauce after party HAH
-Senior Boatcruise
-Harry Potter premiere lol & going to Mel’s at like 4 in the morning
-hitting 24 with Abby cuz she was hella funny haha
-getting kicked out of Forensics LOLOL
-Homecoming: floatbuilding, balloon bridge, rally, parade… what an exhausting month…
-going to Peets with Daniela just to sit and chat
-TENNIS!!! Ugh I’m really gonna miss high school tennis. I really bonded with my girls and it was cute.
-visiting my cousin @ her dorm in Berkeley with Nathan and Kevin
-writing Kevin a letter and never giving it to him lol
-Swim team__ even though I never went to meets, I loved the practices because it was good exercise and I like to believe that it helped increase my willpower haha
-BFD- what a great event! I got to smoke weed with a stripper and watch Snoop Dogg get a lap dance on stage. It was pretty surreal, man.
-ditching fifth period every damn day of 4th quarter Junior year
-dancing like Napolean Dynamite on stage for the theatre final last year… LOL
-running for Junior Prom King only to be dismissed by Ms D HAH ajsdlkfjasldf
-emceeing Mr GQ
-Bruno Mars concert sucked. But Mayor Hawthorne opened for him, so that was enjoyably haha
-hanging out with Sara (black friday man ahaha)
-rekindling my passion for knitting
-getting better at tennis, and then slowly falling out of it again lol
-writing my personal statement for UCs… in some ways, it kind of helped me mature because I got to reflect on my life
-getting 3s on two AP tests :)
-pretty much not being able to read Chinese but passing the SAT subject test for Mandarin :)
-getting super close to Kevin and then drifting away :/
-painting my room
-Psychology with Rudd. He was pretty knowledgeable, but his students showed him no respect which kinda sucked haha. I really enjoyed this class because I found Psychology really intriguing.
-my dad’s heart attack- it really brought my family closer together and it was kind of a wake up call for our family.
-going on hikes with Tamy, Curtis, and Kevin
-hanging out with Frank and eating hella junk food with him
-going on runs with Kevin and Curtis
Things to come in 2012:
-Powderpuff *sigh*
-acceptance and rejection letters from colleges
-MY EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY!!! holy shit I am going to go to the strip club, I don’t care what my parents or anyone says LOL
-scholarship interview for Berkeley… *anxious*
-Senior Ball at California Academy of Science. one single word: AQUARIUM
-Grad Nite the week after ball. I’m stoked!!
-ATTENDING COLLEGE & depending on where I get into, I’m most likely moving into a dorm. That will be a trip! Haha & meeting future roomie and potentially hating her or loving her
-I’m going to BFD no matter what
-Coachella! Even though it’s in Indio haha
-Philosophy class
-Swim team
